All children, regardless of differing needs, can have huge benefit from having a class timeline/schedule.
This is a growing bundle and as requests are made, more symbols will be added to this pack that are appropriate for timeline/schedule use.
Social Story - Behaviours, Behaviors
This resource contains a behaviour / behavior management symbol support story that is a great resource to introduce and encourage behavior / behaviour management with yours students.
This social story is 22 page story on behaviour/behaviors.
It comes with a choice of 3 different covers (my helping story, behaviour management, behavior management).
The story is a walkthrough of different things that students may do if they get angry/sad and how you/they can help calm.
Each page comes with a descriptive image/symbol.
I recommend printing each page individually, laminating and then binding together a book so that it can be used for future/prolonged use.

Communication Book with Symbols
This is a communication book, created with symbols to provide students with an extra aide to communicate their needs and wishes with those around them.
Every day we look around for different visual prompts i.e road signs, shopping lists. These help us to go through our daily lives. Many people diagnosed with autism are thought to learn best visually. By providing this communication book you are providing your student(s) with a visual aide.
This communication book will also help your students to work on their vocabulary, language development and ability to process information. Most importantly, this resource is fantastic for promoting yours students independence and life skills.
Anyone can benefit potentially from using a communication book or similar visual aide, regardless of age or ability.

Editable Newsletter Templates for the Year
Keep families and carers up to date with your classroom with these editable newsletters that can be used all year long. Coming in a range of different styles, your families will love how engaging and informative these newsletters are.

These newsletters can be edited in PowerPoint or Keynote.
The editable parts are where you can add edit text, photos, shapes etc. onto the templates.
You will not be able to lift any images. This is to protect my work as a teacher-author and the work of fantastic clip artists.
How to Use
Edit using PowerPoint or Keynote - the newsletters are separated into different files to make them easier to use.
Print out the newsletters to send home with students.
Or, save the newsletter as a JPEG or PDF and then email home to your students families/carers. This will save on your ink and can make communicating with home easier.
Newsletters are a great way for you to stay in touch with families of the students in your class as well as being able to share what you have been doing in class, what is coming up and any important reminders.

Autism Resources: Good Afternoon Work Book
This resource contains a Good Afternoon Work Book / Greeting Book that is a great activity to use on a daily basis with your student(s). This book will help students to settle down and get ready to focus for their afternoon work. Many students may struggle with the transition in the afternoons, especially after playtimes, so by providing this work book as anchor in their daily afternoon routine, it will help them to settle quicker.
It is individualised so each student can have their own copy.
The document comes as a keynote or powerpoint file.
You can add on different wording and add pictures of your student etc. but please note you will not be able to add/change/extract any form of clipart/imagery/text from this document. This is to protect our fabulous clip artists and myself as a teacher-seller.
This is a harder, newer version of my Good Afternoon greeting book. This one encourages students to be able to write their answers (you can also add text to it for them to overwrite if they are not yet at the level of independent writing) but continue to also choose symbols for the answer.
All symbols are also included at the back of the page, you will need to add some of your own, i.e pictures of staff etc
A walkthrough is also included to explain how to use the greeting book to it's best potential.

Autism Morning Work Book
This adapted morning work binder is an engaging and hands-on way to start each morning with your autistic students. Using the morning binder each day will help your students get into a routine where they come in, settle down and they are ready to work.
Many of our students may struggle with transition in the mornings, so by providing this work book as a consistent routine in their daily morning routine, it will help them to settle quicker and be prepared to work.
The books are editable so each student can have their own personalized morning binder.

You can either add your students name using a text box and then print out, or have students write their name once printed.
You can also put a white shape square over the image on the front cover and then insert an image of your student if you want their photo on the front cover.
What Should I Wear
This comes with 4 different options. You only need to print one per book used. 2 boy options, and 2 girl options are included.
Students use the clothing pieces included to dress the person appropriately for how the weather is outside.
Build Up
If you feel there are too many pages to start for your students, use less pages to start.
First, just use ‘Me and My Name’ ‘What Day Is It?’ ‘How’s the Weather?’ and 'Finished’
Then, as students progress with this, start adding more of the pages in.
Finished
My students love these books - but they love the finished page too.
Having the finished page is a visual way to show your students that they have completed the activity. And that’s the end of the book.
All symbols are included in this resource. You can also add your own too.

This is a huge $$ saving bundle consisting of a variety of different CVC activities and worksheets, including some no prep worksheets. This CVC pack will keep your students engaged and learning for a very long time with over 200 pages included!
These activities/worksheets are great to introduce to your literacy sessions or even in small group sessions.

Students have to match the medial sound of the CVC word on the gum ball into the correct/matching gum ball machine.

Students have to match the correct image to the shadow of the image shown from a choice of 3 options.

Students have to find the correct medial sound for the image shown on the task card out of a choice of 3 options.

Hide the cards around the room or in sensory bins etc. and have students hunt them out and then record them on their sheet!

Students fill in the spelling frames to spell the CVC word of the image on the task card. Laminate them to make them re-usable!

Students look at the image and word on to of the puzzle then find the matching pieces to spell it.

Students read through the passage and have to find and highlight the CVC words included in the box at the bottom of the page.

CVC Shadow Matching Task Cards
This download contains 30 different task cards. All comes in col option - no b/w.
There are 2 task cards per page.
Students have to choose 1 out of 3 possible answers to match the image to their shadow.
There are instructions included on the front page of the document. I recommend cutting them out individually and then laminating them, this will make them stronger and longer lasting - meaning you can use them over and over again.

CVC Read and Highlight
This resource contains 11 different CVC Read and Highlight no prep worksheets. These worksheets are a great way for students to work on their vocabulary, reading and attention to detail skills.
Students simply read through the passage and use the box on the bottom to see what CVC words they need to find and highlight them.
This is a great and different way to help students with their CVC/word recognition.
It comes with instructions on the first page and all pages come as black and white for ink friendly printing.
This is a no prep activity - just print and hand out!
You can either use these as paper worksheets to hand out to students or you can laminate them so that they can be re-used throughout the year.
Contains 11 pages.
CVC Mini Work Books
Mini booklets for each of the vowels - a,e,i,o,u. Each medial vowel has their own mini booklet, containing 6 different images/words.
These mini booklets are a great way for your students to work on their CVC words, while making it more interactive and fun for them. Simply staple/put together the pages so that it makes a mini book, then have the students color/colour in the CVC images, read the words and then write them. There is a writing prompt on the bottom of each page for students to overwrite.
This is a great way to introduce CVC words to your students. Once the mini booklets are completed they can either be put on display, sent home or kept close for your students to look back on and use throughout the year when needed to look back over and use for different CVC activities.
Contains 10 pages - 4 mini pages to 1 standard page.
CVC Medial Sound Task Cards
These task cards use CVC images, there are 30 task cards in total.
They come in black and white and color/colour option for your preference.
I recommend cutting out and laminating each task card individually to make them stronger and prolong the use of them.
There are 3 choices of answers on the bottom for students to select the correct answer of the medial sound of the CVC word.
You can choose whether you want students to draw a circle around the correct answer with a wipe-off marker or put a peg on it etc.
These are an excellent addition to your classroom to see if students are able to recognise initial sounds in different aspects.

Christmas Comprehension
This activity includes 8 different comprehension activities all related to the theme of Christmas. Each activity comes with 1 x story page and 1 x questions page.
There is a short amount of information provided on each page and then 4 questions on another page - you can see examples in preview/thumbnail pictures.
This is great for students to be able to read a passage and recall details from it, answering relevant questions.
It is related to Christmas to give a twist on the usual comprehension activities. Comes in black and white for ink friendly printing.

These fine motor skill tracing task cards are a great way to encourage students some engaging fine motor skill practice. This pack includes 53 different task cards. Each task card includes one type of fine motor/pre handwriting skill.
Each page comes with 4 task cards on, I recommend printing them out and cutting them individually. Laminate them to prolong the use of them - you will be able to use them over and over.
These are great to help students improve their handwriting/fine motor skills/pen control. Set them up ready then store them away, ready to pull out whenever you need them. These are great time fillers or extras for your literacy centres.
